# Boundary-tending

Part of the [Conflict engagement](/conflict-engagement.md) area.

**Accord.** The network can, through a defined and transparent process, determine that a member's behaviour is incompatible with continued participation. The process involves multiple rounds of engagement before reaching this point.

**Ritual.** The process is held by people trained in both accountability and care – not as a judicial proceeding but as a relational reckoning.

**Critique & Contemplation.** After any boundary decision, the group examines what the conflict revealed about the network's structures, not only about the individual involved.
